Estate Agency, I have very nearly done it all over the last 25 years. A Sales Negotiator, Valuer, Branch Manager, Area Sales Director and a Senior Divisional Director working for a larger corporate company looking after 27 Estate Agency branches and over 250 employees.
So why take the jump and risk it all by starting my own business? Well in fairness I had loved my career in Estate Agency before taking the plunge having only worked for a handful of companies on the way. However, all that said I can truly say that I had lost my sparkle for a while and to top it off the 500 miles a week commute from Kings Hill to London had taken its toll too. 
So there really wasn't that much to think about,  I certainly didn't want to do anything else. 
Estate Agency is in my blood, so it was time to get back to the shop floor, doing valuations, meeting people and giving people advice, whether this be about selling, buying or letting.
Happily married to Lisa (also an estate agent) with 6 children, I needed to balance the home life scales too. Working 70 hours a week regularly, not seeing the kids on weeknights had already gone on too long so something had to give. Now with my work-life balance in check doing the job, I love with people who share the same vision, I think it's a pretty exciting and smart move.

I’m Jon Willoughby, I’ve seen and done most in my professional career, I’ve worked in bars, banks, motor trade, property and financial services. 

2014 saw me make the leap into agency. Eden estates is the latest adventure, I wanted to create a work life balance to enable me to have the freedom to spend time with my young family, having been in the london rat race for the last 7 years, the lockdown opened my eyes to how life should be spent.

Happily married and a proud father to my boys, any spare time I do enjoy is usually spent in a park somewhere or walking in the beautiful surrounding villages.

I have been in the property industry since 1999 and have had estate agency flowing through my veins since day one. I am passionate about giving exceptional customer service and achieving the best possible price for our clients along with honest advice, empathy and understanding for all situations. Away from owning an estate agency there is never a dull moment with all of my time spent with my amazing 5 beautiful children and husband Jeff.

I’m Kelly Mawson, Historically I have owned and run a successful local business which stopped in 2016 with the birth of my son, now a mother of two boys I felt it was the right time to get back involved in business. Working in agency wasn’t what I expected to do when I landed here from the states in 2004, I left the bright lights of Dallas and fell in love with the scenic local towns of maidstone. All spare time is spent with the family enjoying the local walking routes, the wonderful towns and my beautiful family.

Prior to Eden I had been working in a customer service environment for the past 5 years, In April 2021 an opportunity arose for a “little chat” Fast forward a few hours and I had decided that Estate Agency was for me. I have tried a few different jobs to date and I definitely feel as though I have finally found a job that I have a real passion for and look forward to growing even further in my role.

Growing up in a family business that was based in the property market I have always had a high interest in pursuing a job role related to it. After working in customer services for the past 5 years I have always known that the property industry is the place I wanted to be.

In 2021 an opportunity arose for me to finally make this a reality. Although my time in estate agency has been short, I have learnt a lot and I am excited for where it will take me.

Lauren joined the eden family in November 2021. After growing up locally, Lauren has a lot of knowledge about the local area and is now keen to meet local sellers and buyers and help them through the process of moving from the first day of the journey through to completion day!

Lauren has always had a keen interest in the property industry and is now looking forward to making use of her skills In her new career path. Customer service is very important to Lauren, she always tries her best to go the extra mile to ensure clients are happy. She is always up for a challenge and enjoys meeting new people.
